We were very excited last April when Syncapse published a white paper detailing the value of a Facebook Fan for consumer brands. In 2010, in a similar review, Syncapse published their findings of the value of a Facebook fan to be $136.38, and providing proof there was a significant opportunity for brands online.
The April 2013 research found that the fan value for consumer brands has increased 28% since 2010, to $174.17, with an additional statistic that Fan counts have doubled, and in some cases tripled in 2013. It was also found that Fans spend more on a brand than non-fans.
The ever popular Starbucks being a great example, it was concluded that non-fans spend $162 per year on their coffee and tea, whereas fans spend $261 per year. That is a $99 difference! The entirety of the white paper is impressive, and well worth the read. Please visit the link below to get your personal download. We are curious, how will you take this knowledge and implement it in your overall marketing strategy? What do you see the future trends being like?
